Poker is a popular game throughout the world. Poker has some features of the card games, which were played long ago, but the modern version of the game is a purely American game. There exist several Poker variations, but they don’t differ from each other greatly, the principle is the same. A person who has learned these principles can play without difficulty in any game. Poker is a game of betting and card combinations. Traditionally the strongest hand available is a combination of 5 highest-ranking cards, there are poker variations, in which the best hands are different. In High/Low poker the pot can be split by two players. The player who has the strongest hand and the player, who has the weakest hand are the winners. The bets made by the players are added to the pot, which is situated in the center of the table. If you don’t want to meet the highest bet by some other player you can’t compete for the pot. Because of this rule, players are able to bluff and win the pot. Every player tries to win the jackpot. There are two ways of winning the pot. 
When all the bets are made by the players, they show down their cards. The player who has the strongest hand is the winner. If during betting, a player makes a bet that no other players are willing to meet, that player wins the pot without showing his/her cards. All cards of the 52 card deck are used.
