Unlike other poker variations in Texas Holdem there are community cards, which are common for all players in the game. To form their hands all players can use these community cards. 2 cards are dealt face down to each player in Texas Holdem. 5 more cards are dealt face down on the table. They are called community cards. A round of betting is held after the deal and three of the table cards are turned up. Another round of betting follows. Then the dealer turns up one more community card and players make bets. After the last betting round and the turn up of the last community card the hands of the players are compared. The winning combination can be formed from the two pocket cards and five community cards. The player who has formed the best hand is the winner.
