Deuce is the only single card you can hold. Don't hold a single ace or any "high" card-it does nothing for you. Discarding a deuce is forbidden! In the case of a shot at a natural royal you can do it. There is no point in keeping any other ‘high’ card with a deuce. Two Pair is not worth holding either.
