Poker is played with a regular deck of 52 cards without Jokers. It is pretty much a game of chance. One can be a pro in Poker, but when the cards are dealt luck is the same for everybody. There is a table with maximum and minimum bets next to the dealer. You should read this table before you start playing. Players make their bets and then each player is dealt five cards face down. After this first deal the first round of betting starts. You must at least call to stay into the game. Then you have to decide which cards you want to keep and which to discard. All the cards can be kept and all the cards can be thrown away. You will get the same number of cards in place of discarded ones. Then there is the last deal, which is followed by the betting round.
