A, K, Q, J, 10 of the same suit form Royal Flush. Royal Flush is the highest hand. If there are no wild cards in the game Royal Flush will beat all other hands. If you play with wild cards the best hand is ‘Five of a Kind’. In most casinos wild cards aren’t used, that’s why Royal Flush is the highest card.
Straight Flush.
Straight Flush is formed of five sequent cards of the same suit. ‘Straight Flush’ beats ‘Four of a Kind’ and any lower hand. If there are several Straight Flushes in the game the rank of the cards is compared. The player who has the highest head card wins. ‘Straight Flush’ beats ‘Four of a Kind’ and any lower hand.
Four of a Kind.
’Four of a Kind’ consists of four cards of the same rank. If several players have the same combination, the rank of their cards is compared. The player who has the highest card is a winner. Four of a kind beats a full house or any lower hand.
Full House.
“Full House” consists of three cards of the same rank and a pair. If there are several Full Houses at the table the rank of three equal cards is compared. The player who has the highest three of a kind wins. ‘Full House’ beats a flush or any lower hand.
Flush.
Five cards of the same suit form a Flush. The rank of the cards isn’t important. The rank of the cards is important when two or more players have a Flush. The hand with a higher rank wins. If the highest cards from each player’s hand tie, the next-highest-ranking card determines the winner, and so on. A flush beats a straight or any lower hand.
Straight.
Five sequent cards form a Straight. Suit is of no matter. If several players have Straight, the rank of the head of the combinations is compared. The player’ who has the highest head card is a winner. A, K, Q, J, 10 is the highest ‘Straight’. 5,4,3,2, A is the lowest ‘Straight’. ‘Straight’ beats ‘Three of a Kind’ or any lower hand.
Three of a Kind.
A combination of three cards of the same rank is called Three of a Kind. If two or more players have ‘Three of a Kind’ the rank of the cards is compared. The player with the higher ranking card wins. Aces are the highest, twos are the lowest cards. ‘Three of a kind’ beats ‘Two pair’ or any lower hand.
Two Pair.
’Two Pair’ consists of two cards of the same rank, and two matching cards of any other rank. The hand with the highest-ranking pair wins against another hand of two pair. If the highest-ranking pair ties, the hand with the second highest-ranking pair wins. If the pairs in both hands tie, the hand with the highest-ranking fifth card wins. ‘Two pair’ beats any hand with ‘One pair’, or no pair (high card).One Pair.
One Pair is formed of two cards of the same rank. If more than one player have ‘One Pair’ the player with the highest-ranking hand wins. If both hands have the same pair, the highest-ranking unmatched card in the hand determines the winner. One pair beats any hand with no pair (high card).
